In grade school, Betty took work home so she could write stories and draw horse pictures during the day to entertain classmates. That love of horses, writing and drawing - now in the form of photography - continues. Her profession of thirty-three years - working as a legal secretary - has allowed her to support her horse habit. Creating books has given her the opportunity to combine her love of horses, writing and illustration into one art form. She lives with her husband, Scott, in Mapleton, Utah. Betty proudly claims two grown children, five grandchildren and three horses. She is the author of four adventure romance books, Quality Concealed, Image of Deception, Challenge of Choice and A Tuff-to-Beat Christmas. Her work has won various awards in the state and local Utah League of Writers contests and in the Utah Arts Council Writing Competition.
